Arielle K. Allen

Luunivaa Maaya Shrestha is a Legal Assistant at Allen Trial Law, where she supports clients throughout every stage of their case with compassion, attention to detail, and exceptional written advocacy.

She earned her degree in Rhetoric & Writing with Special Honors and High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a minor in Sociology. Her honors thesis, The Cruel Rhetoric of Systemic Autistic Masking and Its Wicked Problems, examines the ableist rhetoric shared by Applied Behavior Analysis and Gifted Education, how they maintain systemic autistic masking, and the wicked problems that lie within each.

With a longstanding goal of attending law school, Luunivaa is passionate about personal injury law, disability rights, and ensuring that every client feels heard, informed, and supported. She enjoys legal research, persuasive writing, and helping build cases that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Outside of work, Luunivaa is deeply involved in her community. She has served as Professional Coordinator for South Asian Women Empowerment, contributed as a Writer, Editor, and Content Creator for Her Campus Texas, and is an active member of Minority Women Pursuing Law. She has also been involved with the Mental Health Initiative for South Asians through South Asian Community Engagement and Outreach, reflecting her commitment to mental health advocacy within underserved communities.

Aléyah Escobar is a bilingual Law Clerk and Translator dedicated to ensuring every client feels heard, understood, and supported throughout the legal process. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she believes that clear communication is essential to effective advocacy and strives to make every interaction accessible, compassionate, and culturally sensitive.

A first-generation college graduate and Juris Doctor candidate at St. Mary's University School of Law, Aléyah combines her legal education with hands-on experience in client advocacy and litigation support. Before joining Allen Trial Law, she served as a Bilingual Legal Advocate with the Hays-Caldwell Women's Center, worked as a Litigation Paralegal on personal injury cases, provided legal compliance services for Accenture, interned with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, and supported crime victims as a Victim Services Intern with the Huntsville Police Department.

Her legal training has strengthened her attention to detail, professionalism, and understanding of legal terminology, allowing her to provide accurate translations while preserving the meaning and intent behind every conversation and document. Aléyah is passionate about breaking down language barriers, building trust with clients, and helping individuals navigate difficult moments with clarity, dignity, and confidence.

She is proud to serve the diverse communities of Texas and is committed to making every client feel welcomed, informed, and empowered from their very first interaction with the firm.
