About
A Path Built on Advocacy
Arielle Allen's path to the law began long before she earned a law license. It began with advocacy. As a college student at the University of Maryland, Arielle volunteered with AmeriCorps and the Wiesbaden-American Red Cross, working directly with individuals and families navigating systems that felt overwhelming and inaccessible.
She went on to earn her degree in psychology and worked as a behavior therapist in pediatric clinics, supporting children with developmental delays and their families at some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. It was there that Arielle saw firsthand how deeply broken systems can compound already-difficult circumstances — and how, when people lack informed advocacy, harm multiplies.
That realization ultimately led her to pursue law. Arielle attended the University of Texas School of Law, where she graduated with pro bono honors and focused her legal education on service-driven advocacy. During law school, she volunteered with Austin Angels supporting foster families, worked in the Texas Law Disability Rights and Actual Innocence Clinics, and served as an attorney ad litem advocating for children in foster care in Travis County.
After law school, Arielle gained experience across multiple sides of high-stakes litigation and public service — the Texas Office of the Attorney General, a large Texas-based catastrophic injury firm, a boutique Austin trial firm, and one of the largest personal injury firms in Austin. That breadth of experience shaped her practical, trial-ready approach and reinforced a central belief: serious injuries demand serious advocacy, and accountability should never depend on who has more power or resources.
Now at Allen Trial Law PLLC, Arielle represents individuals and families whose lives have been altered by preventable harm. She brings a background in psychology, disability advocacy, and public service to every case, which has allowed her to see clients not as files, but as people navigating complex systems during profoundly disruptive moments.
"I consider trial by jury as the only anchor ever yet imagined by man, by which a government can be held to the principles of its constitution."
